Afterglow
Adapted from the installation of the same title, Afterglow attempts to establish a poetic connection between the mechanisms of vision and memory. The artist is seen scanning a photograph of a mourned relative. The beam of the scanner crosses the screen and marks the passage of time, graducally giving way to a series of light and sound impressions. Almost residual images file past, like those that stay with us after we close our eyes.
