This video presents an overview of the employment problems in the Bois-Francs region, and denounces capitalism as the cause of unemployment. Images of the region, interviews with the workers and a speech by a union leader underline the exploitation of the workers by capitalism. Points of view on the part of workers from the forest, mines and furniture industries are predominant. Their words often seem at odds with the theoretical discourse of the professional unions. Closure of the Guy-George Samuelson mine is presented as a symbol of the confrontation between workers and management.
