Based on the play by Germain, Gauvreau and Sauvageau, Jean-Claude Germains produced a tableau - in the style of the time before the Quiet Revolution - illustrating the decline of religion in Québec. Each scene is cut short, placed in sequence and follows a rapid rhythm. Using facial mime and working their voices to modulate the texts, the actors remain static.
