This video follows the topless dancers Suzanne and Lucie in their day-to-day lives. The author offers a sociological study of the phenomenon and a cinéma-vérité approach to the two women and their lifestyles. In the first part, the camera introduces us to the bars where the dancers work. We meet the doorman, the owner, the dancers and the clients. We also meet a "casting agency" that places dancers in bars. In the second part, Suzanne and Lucie openly reveal their lives, their pasts, their loves and their work as dancers. We slowly become intimate enough with them to share a shot of "speed" in a hotel room. This documentary contains new information about a world which is still not very accessible.
