Seeing with your Fingertips
Add to selectionDownload PDF

In this work, Chantal duPont explores the world inside from within by means of a visual prosthesis attached to the ends of her fingers. It is a blind vision, sometimes blurred and indistinct, of sonic waves and murmurs to decode, a tide of images and sounds that grow increasingly clear, as when we leave the memory of the womb on our journey outward to new spaces. The viewer is invited to enter this subjective, tactile experience of seeing and listening with his or her fingertips.
